PH Levels Acids and Alkaline

The human body is on average a PH of 7.4, this is also effected by the foods we consume.

Examples of Acidic foods (PH >7): Meat, poultry, fish, dairy, eggs, grains, alcohol, chocolate, processed food.

Examples of Alkaline foods (PH <7): Fruits, nuts, legumes, vegetables, oils, lemon.

Examples of neutral (approx PH 7) foods: natural fats, starches, and sugars

Environmental/internal factors may produce an alkaline/acidic effect on the body:

Acidic: Stress, worry, jealously, anger, doubt, insecurity.

Alkaline: Optimism, happiness, love, joy.

It is generally optimal to have a PH of around 7.4, which is slightly more alkaline.

As you may see above, it is not only the foods we consume, also the thoughts we consume on a daily basis that effect us, so make sure you are thinking healthily and eat healthy!

Being high in acid in the body or for too long can cause health issues such as osteoporosis, diabetes, hair loss, fatigue, lack of appetite just to name a few. So, I wish you well in your health endeavours and hopefully you'd be motivated by this post!
